With this year’s theme fittingly being ‘Our Sporting Heritage’ and with the 35th America’s Cup starting on Friday 26th May, the America’s Cup Event Authority joined the Bermuda Day Parade. Six America’s Cup team branded Blokarts, compact land yachts, were driven along as part of the parade, accompanied by representatives of the highly successful America’s Cup Endeavour Program and Team BDA, Bermuda’s very own entry in the 2017 Red Bull Youth America’s Cup.
Due to strong winds in Bermuda, day one of the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Qualifiers and the Official Opening Ceremony of the 35th America’s Cup have been postponed until Saturday May 27th. – The America’s Cup Event Authority [ACEA] & America’s Cup Race Management [ACRM]
